Waterside Boat Sales are delighted to be part of the SKIP (Students for Kids International Project) programme to help children by sending medical students to not only help with medical needs but to educate them in basic medical advice such as hygiene, sanitation, dental hygiene and how generally to keep well.

SKIP Madagascar Project

The project is one of many that SKIP run in various location around the globe to improve the lives of others but also give a valuable insight to our future doctors who are currently undergoing their training.  We have choosen to support one medical student in particular who will be going to Madagascar from Southampton University’s Medical School and will be part of a team trying to deliver all of SKIP’s goal during her 6 week stay.

All the staff here at Waterside Boat Sales have very generously given money direct from their own wages to support this project and this has been matched by the mangement to go some way to help reach the target for this year.  If you would like to help in anyway then please contact our head office on 02392 377466 and we can put you directly in touch so you can donate directly to the charity.
