About the British Marine Federation

As member of the British Marine Federation it means that Waterside Boat Sales are bound by the code of practice of the BMF and like all its member we strive to ensure we provide excellent service whether we are selling your boat, you are purchasing a boat through us or indeed if you just want advice about boating or your boat.

Through National Boat Show, which is a subsidiary of the British Marine federation, Waterside Boat Sales has taken its annual dedicated stand space at both the London Boat Show and the Southampton Boat Show.

The British Marine Federation (BMF) is the trade association for the leisure and small commercial marine industry.

Our members come from over 4300 businesses in today's UK leisure and small commercial marine markets. The turnover of those markets is worth £3.1 billion. Our mission statement states that:

• Promote the marine industry
• Provide showcases for its products, here and overseas
• Liaise with Governments, Authorities and Agencies

• Provide technical, regulatory and manufacturing information and advice
• Provide strategy, advice and practical assistance on environmental issues
• Assist with training and recruitment
• Advise and represent on legal and financial matters
